Born in Kent, OH, I have been a creative person ever since I first stepped foot on a stage at six years old. In New York City, I studied improvisation from the amazing Gary Austin (founder of The Groundlings). While I found a creative home performing at improv theaters in NYC and throughout the country, creating characters and dialogue on the spot also reignited my love of writing. This led me to Los Angeles to earn my MFA in Writing and Producing in TV and start my career as a writer and producer.
I currently live in Los Angeles working in film, television, theatre, and podcasts. My original comedy and drama scripts have placed in the Tribeca Festival, PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, Cinequest, Nantucket, and Austin Film Festivals, and the Tracking Board Launch Pad Competition. I write female-driven stories about underdogs, rebels, and the square pegs that will never fit into society’s round holes. I love to explore common themes and important topics in new, offbeat, or provocative ways.

That's right...I also do voice over work. You can listen to my demo reel here.
And for more of my vocal stylings, check out my guest appearance on the storytelling podcast, RISK! created by Kevin Allison. I told a true story from my life about the time I shoplifted...poorly. It's called "Smooth Criminal" and you can listen to it here.
Contributing writer for the recently published book, Ted Lasso and Philosophy, which explores the television show, Ted Lasso through philosophical dimensions.
I am not accepting pitches to finance material at the moment. However, if you would like to discuss my current projects, are interested in representing me, or want to hire me as a writer or producer (film, television, podcast, theatre), let's chat!
